Driving Lessons and preventing spread of viruses.

 

Hand sanitiser is available to use during any lesson by the instructor and trainee.

 

Windows will be slightly open to allow an air flow while driving.

Cancellations

 

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the time of the lesson (unless in exceptional circumstances agreed by me) or the lesson fee will be charged.

​

A reminder text is sent 24/48 hours before a lesson is due to take place (via my Goroadie app) asking you to check into the lesson.

By checking in to the app lesson you confirm you are fit and well and not experiencing anything that will impede your ability to drive, and you are confirming that you are still available for the booked lesson.

 

You must check into the app only on the morning of the lesson between 6am and 7.45am and not on any days or times before as health and availability status can change overnight.

The lesson will be cancelled and charged for if this information is not received during those times.

 

As the Driving Instructor I can reserve the right to cancel lessons if the trainee is not fit to drive due to safety reasons.

As the Driving Instructor I reserve the right to withdraw the car from test without notice should the trainee not be up to test standard due to safety reasons.

​No refunds for the test 2-hour lesson booked will be given as time has been already allocated.

As the Driving Instructor I will advise the pupil when appropriate to book the practical test

Special Offers / Course prices

 

All Special Offers are subject to the discretion of myself and availability.

 

All packages, pre-paid block bookings and Intensive bookings are purchased as a complete package deal and therefore no part refunds are given for any hours not taken or cancelled by the pupil as lesson slots would have been allocated.

Payments

 

​All payments are made direct to me by bank transfer and any refunds (if agreed) will be made by myself.

I can reserve the right to cancel lessons if the trainee is not fit to drive due to safety reasons and the lesson will be charged for.

 

All lessons are to be paid in advance at time of booking.

 

Block Bookings/ Intensive Courses

 

Must be paid for in advance otherwise normal hourly rate will apply.

Block Bookings and Intensive Courses are purchased as a complete package and no part refunds will be given for hours not taken.

If I agree any refunds each lesson taken (or cancelled and charged for) will be charged at the FULL hourly rate and not the rate of any discounts given.

 

Theory And Practical Tests

 

Can only be taken by holders of a Provisional Driving Licence holders.

 

Road Safety

 

I reserve the right to cancel the Lesson if the trainee is deemed to be unfit for driving due to alcohol, drugs(prescription or otherwise), tiredness or other medical reasons that may affect the safety to others and the lesson WILL be charged for.

I reserve the right to withdraw my car for tests without notice should the trainee prove not to be up to test standard.

​NO refund will be given for the hours booked for the practical test and paid for as time has already been allocated.

Responsibility

 

I cannot be held responsible for postponements of lessons due to illness, mechanical breakdown or inclement weather conditions (warnings), nor for driving tests postponed by the Driving Vehicle and Standards Agency.

​ If a reply to your health status, Covid and lesson availability questions ​(as detailed above) is not received within the due times the lesson will be cancelled and charged for.
